Charleston Civil War Tour (coming soon)

Learn vocabulary that is specific to the historical time period of the Civil War and walk through the streets of the city where it all began. The War between the States was America’s bloodiest and most expensive war. The City of Charleston is the place where it started and it is also the birth place of the Southern Cause. Starting on the morning of April 12, 1861 Charleston was awoken by the sounds of cannon fire from the Harbor. What happened next tore apart the Union of the United States and changed our history forever. Come along as we explore the very city that started the Civil War.
